Academically Eligible

What is meant by the term "academic eligibility"?

All students must meet academic eligibility. All 6th grade students are automatically eligible for the first semester. All other athletes must pass 5 out of 6 classes per semester to be eligible to participate in athletics. In addition, a student must earn at least a 70% to be considered passing the class.

How many sports can I play each season?

A student may participate in more than one sport at a time. In order to do so, the athlete must meet with the coaches for approval, and establish which sport is one and two. It is an honor to be a student athlete!

How is playtime determined?

Playing time is earned ant Practice. The coach will determine who and at what level each athlete will play.

Does each sport have tryouts?

Each sport has an assessment time or preseason time.
